Accelerated 4+1 Bachelors/Masters

Through the BA+MS or BS+MS program, students may complete a BA or BS with a Master of Science degree in five years, instead of the six academic years normally required of full-time students. High-performing undergraduate students may apply to the 5-year program after the second year of undergraduate study and, if accepted, complete bachelor’s and master’s coursework during the third, fourth and fifth year.

Students who are accepted for an accelerated 4+1 program may apply or transfer a maximum of 12 graduate credit hours taken while an undergraduate to their graduate record. All credits requested for transfer must carry a letter grade of A, A-, B+, or B in graduate courses. No additional graduate credit hours taken as an undergraduate may be applied or transferred to the graduate record.
