Dr. Shereen Naser, along with colleagues Dr. Bonnie Nastasi and Dr. Stuart Hart, recently published a book exploring the intersection between Child Rights as defined by the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child and school based practice. The book provides guidance in promoting and protecting child rights when dealing with critical issues relevant to the school community, including well-being, freedom from violence, and access to high quality education. The book also offers guidance for school psychologists in applying child rights to the many roles a school psychologists might take on in the educational setting.
