Bachelor of Science (BA) in Physics

The Bachelor of Arts in Physics degree is designed to prepare students for a broad range of technical/science careers or graduate professional programs (medical physics, patent processing, teaching). It is constructed to give an in-depth and broad look into the world of Physics while aiming for a very flexible schedule of classes.

HIGHLIGHTS:
  • Career paths: employment as a scientist or engineer; employment as a teacher (when pursuing the BA with Secondary Teaching Licensure); pursuit of advanced professional degrees in physics, engineering, or math.
  • Very flexible allowing pursuit of a dual major. Typical combinations are with degrees in mathematics, chemistry, biology, or engineering. 
  • If desired, seamless transition to the Bachelor in Science in Physics degree path.
