Audition Instructions for the School of Music

Fall 2025 and Spring 2026

Music Application: Prospective undergraduate and transfer Music Candidate Auditions are currently scheduled to take place on campus in person. All applicants must audition and/or interview by the last posted on-campus audition day to ensure entrance and scholarship consideration.

*Only exception is if you live at least 200 or more miles from Cleveland.

Anticipated Entrance:

Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 - Out of State and International Students:

Travel to Cleveland would present a hardship as I am at least 200 miles away. I will submit a video containing the appropriate audition repertoire per the instructions on the CSU School of Music website. Visit artsandsciences.csuohio.edu/music/MUSaudition for video guidelines and repertoire.

^Percussion: All students with percussion as their principal instrument must schedule an in-person audition. ALL AUDITIONS ARE BY APPOINTMENT. Please refer to artsandsciences.csuohio.edu/music/percussionauditions for audition repertoire and contact information for Mr. Luke Rinderknecht, Mr. Feza Zweifel and Mr. William Ransom directly.
