FACILITIES

The Department of Theatre and Dance is located in the heart of Playhouse Square on CSU’s vibrant Arts Campus. Students learn in beautiful studios and classrooms equipped with state-of-the-art technology and resources designed to support hands-on, professional-level training. The Arts Campus also provides rehearsal spaces for the Allen Theatre complex, offering students the opportunity to work in a professional theatre environment. Through its location within Playhouse Square, students learn alongside and engage with professional actors and artists from Cleveland Play House and the broader Cleveland theatre community.

Performance Venues

The performance venues are located at Playhouse Square in the Allen Theatre Complex, which is at 1407 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44115.

The CSU Theatre and Dance performance spaces include three theatres: the Allen Theatre Mainstage, the Outcalt, and the Helen Rosenfeld Lewis Bialsoky Lab Theatre (aka – "The Helen").
