In his own words: My interest in physics started when I took my first physics class in high school. It didn’t take long for me to decide to pick physics as my major in college. I picked CSU because of the strong physics program, Ohio pride, and a reasonably priced tuition. My introductory physics class was taught by Dr. Borisov, and it cemented my love for physics. I discovered that not only do I enjoy learning physics but teaching it as well. I was a math and physics tutor and later a physics TA. Fast forward 3 years, I applied for the Master of Science graduate program at CSU, specializing in medical physics. I had first heard about this program from Dr. Kaufman. I was extremely fortunate that CSU had this program, as I probably never would have heard of the field of medical physics otherwise. After graduating from the program, I entered a medical physics residency program in Texas.
