Bachelor of Science (BS) in Physics & Computer Science

The combination of Physics and CS provides an innovative program for students who are interested in the intersection between computing and physics. The study of physics gives students the fundamental knowledge in physical sciences, while computer science enables students to build the efficient computational and machine learning skills to perform more complex quantitative analysis in modern physical systems.

HIGHLIGHTS:
  • Career paths: the pursuit of advanced degrees in physics, astronomy, engineering, or math; full-time employment as a scientist or engineer.
  • Very rigorous preparation in Physics, as needed for research graduate programs in science and engineering.
  • Option to pursue an Honors/Scholars version, or combine with an MS graduate degree in Physics through the Accelerated 4+1 BS/MS Program.
