Graduate Student Interdisciplinary Research Club (GSIRC)

MEET GSIRC!

The Graduate Student Interdisciplinary Research Club (GSIRC) is a graduate student organization of the College of Arts and Sciences. To further students' understanding of aspects of science and engineering that are not typically encountered in their day-to-day research, GSIRC provides students with a forum where they can share their research findings with others by hosting and participating in scientific expositions among our Cleveland State colleagues as well as with peers from neighboring academic institutions. 

The purpose of the organization shall be to:

  1. gsirc.pngprovide graduate students a forum that allows them to share their research findings with other students
  2. foster further understanding of aspects relating to science and engineering that is otherwise not typically encountered in day-to-day research
  3. host and participate in technical symposia and other scientific expositions within Cleveland State University and other academic institutions
  4. promote an academic and social arena for students of all fields to compare findings, and discuss academic issues in an informal, relaxed forum
