One of CSU's connections to The Man of Steel is Dr. Samantha Baskind, a Distinguished Professor of Art History, and an expert in Jewish American art and culture, with a specialization in comics. She's on the board of the Siegel and Shuster Society, and introduced the premiere of James Gunn's new SUPERMAN movie at the Capitol Theatre this past weekend. We are sharing links to her recent piece in Smithsonian Magazine, and a podcast for Smithsonian, both focused on Superman.
