Welcome to Cleveland State University’s Department of Art & Design. Our programs in Art History, Graphic Design, and Studio Art offer opportunities for creative practice, critical inquiry, internships, scholarships, and interdisciplinary study.

Located in downtown Cleveland’s Playhouse Square district, the department connects students to the city’s museums, galleries, nonprofit arts organizations, and creative industries.
