The Cleveland State University Department of Art and Design offers undergraduate degree programs in Art History, Design, and Studio Art.

Scholarship Opportunities:

The 2024-25 Scholarship Application

Approximately $120,000 is awarded based on need and artistic merit, thanks to a generous gift from the estate of Gladys and Phillip Haddad. Learn more about the scholarship here.

Deadline: applications are due Monday, January 15, 2024, at 11:59 pm. Note this is the early deadline for current high school students only. There will be a second open deadline in April for all current and prospective CSU students.

Eligibility: Current and prospective full-time undergraduate ART majors seeking a first bachelor's degree and needing at least 24 additional credit hours for graduation who have not defaulted on a previous CSU Merit Scholarship agreement within the past year.
