The Department of Art and Design is located in the CSU Arts Campus and offers Bachelor of Arts degrees in three concentrations and four minors:

| Visual Studies (for non-majors) |
Students can major and minor in the department (for example, a major in studio art with a minor in art history) or have a non-art major (such as communication or psychology) and one of the minors from our department.
Additionally, students can take courses to fulfill university and college graduation requirements or for personal enrichment without the commitment of a major or minor. The Department of Art & Design also offers certificates that lead to promising career paths, such as Arts Management & Community Development, Pre-Art Therapy, and Graphic Design.
