Fall and Spring Semesters

To keep the OpSTEM Scholars connected, supported, and actively engaged throughout their first year, they will participate in a series of structured experiences that promote academic success, professional growth, and a strong sense of community. These experiences include participation in the following: 

• Career Fair and/or Engineering Connections Fair

• STEM Speaker Series

• OpSTEM Faculty Mentor Meetings

• Social Events

• Professional Development Workshops

A scholar's full participation in each required activity will result in a $300 scholarship awarded through CampusNet. In total, they can receive up to $600 for fall and spring.
