On Friday, September 25, 2020 the Department of Psychology hosted the first Viking Series of the 2020-2021 academic year. We were delighted to welcome Michael J. Zickar, Sandman Chair of Industrial-Organizational Psychology at Bowling Green State University. Dr. Zickar presented research that examined the ways in which political vitriol can impact the quality of a workplace. Dr. Zickar approached the topic by first examining how politics can infiltrate the workplace and then he examined the difficulties of being an elected official while trying to manage work/life balances.
We hope that you can join us during the next Viking Series on Friday, October 16, 2020 when Morgan Minyo, a third-year doctoral student in the Adult Development and Aging Ph.D. Program will present Behavioral Symptoms and Unmet Needs: Perspectives of Individuals with Dementia.
