The Department of Psychology’s Dr. Michael Horvath was recently awarded a Jack Shand Research Grant from The Society for the Scientific Study of Religion (SSSR). SSSR is an interdisciplinary academic association that stimulates, promotes, and communicates social scientific research about religious institutions and experiences.
Dr. Horvath will use this grant to further his ongoing research on how the religion of an offender influences forgiveness for workplace conflicts, as well as whether certain types of apologies can affect forgiveness.
