The latest issue of SPS Observer, the magazine of the Society of Physics Students (SPS), an article written by SPS officers Patrick Herron, Andrew Scherer, and SPS Advisor Dr. Kiril Streletzky puts a spotlight on the importance of in-person outreach and social connections. The article details our SPS chapter’s outreach experiences at “Bio-Med Science Academy” in Rootstown Ohio, and the following trip by Bio-Med students to our department here on Campus in April 2022. Thanks to the Marsh White Award from the SPS National, the updated equipment and exhibits helped to show pre-college students the wonders of physics.
