Philosophy at CSU provides students with opportunities to earn college credit while completing internship programs.

Internship Opportunities

  • Undergraduate Internship with the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s Office. This internship is paid and is tied to a 3 credit philosophy course (PHL 494). If interested in applying, please contact Dr. Michael Wiitala, Philosophy Program Advisor, for more information.
  • Archival Research in Philosophy Internship. This internship opportunity is a great option for philosophy students who want to learn more about archival research. It is unpaid but tied to a 3 credit philosophy course, so that you will earn college credits while completing it. If interested, please contact Dr. William Parkhurst.
  • The InterReligious Task Force on Central America (IRTF) hosts volunteer interns for the spring, summer and fall semesters. Interested students can arrange a philosophy course to receive college credit for this internship. Please contact Dr. Michael Wiitala, Philosophy Program Advisor, for more information.
  • Do you have another internship opportunity you found and are wondering whether you could receive college credit in the philosophy program for it? If so, please contact Dr. Michael Wiitala, Philosophy Program Advisor, and we can work something out.
