The Living Tradition: Hungarian Folk Music at CSU

Published on

On April 22, CSU students, along with their families and friends, enjoyed learning about Hungarian traditional music with the Harmonia Band and trying folk dances with László Tihanyi at the event. Organized by the Hungarian Program in the Department of World Languages, Literatures, and Cultures at CSU, the event featured live music from a professional band, as well as a demo workshop on Hungarian folk music and a folk dance lesson led by a trained instructor. Students and their friends also organized a Hungarian ethnic potluck with hot food and desserts.
