The HOPRLab is recruiting undergraduate and graduate students for Spring and Summer 2026. In general, we're looking for individuals (undergraduate and graduate students) who have an interest in research, statistics, and organizational psychology. Preference is given to students who have succeeded in relevant courses in statistics and research methods.

The time commitment depends on what projects are ongoing.

Research assistant positions are typically not paid. However, students are able to earn credit toward graduation (through PSY 396).

Eligibility

To be a member of the HOPRLab you must satisfy the following requirements every semester:

1. An interest in at least one of the topics currently being studied in the HOPRLab
2. Compatibility between your future goals and the experiences offered in the HOPRLab
3. Availability:
   1. You must be available during business days and hours (typically M-F between 8am and 5pm) for at least 6 hours per week (and potentially more, depending on the amount of PSY 396 credit you wish to earn). This work will likely be in person, but depending on the project, some remote work may be allowed
   2. You must be available during weekly overall HOPRLab meetings (times vary from semester to semester)
4. Grades (exceptions may be made under unique circumstances)
   1. Previous semester: All grades of C or better
   2. One of the following options:
      1. Cumulative GPA over 3.00 AND previous semester GPA over 3.00
      2. Cumulative GPA over 2.75 AND previous semester GPA over 3.25
