54th Annual Student Art Show

Each spring, Cleveland State University proudly hosts the highly anticipated juried Student Art Show and Haddad Merit Scholar Exhibition, celebrating student creativity and excellence. This event is a cornerstone in the academic calendar for the CSU Department of Art and Design, offering a platform to showcase the best of our creative community.

The show features awards in a variety of categories, including video animation, sculpture, ceramics, photography, printmaking, painting, and drawing, among others.

Requirements to Enter Juried Exhibition

• All currently enrolled CSU students are eligible to submit up to four pieces of artwork — any major, Project 60, graduate or undergraduate
• Artwork must have been produced in the 2025- 2026 academic year and not shown in previous Galleries at CSU shows
• All 2D works should be framed and ready to install
• Please have the title and sale price (if applicable) at drop-off

Drop-offs: March 31 — April 4, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

In Conversation with CSU Haddad Merit Scholars
Tuesday, April 28 from 5–7 p.m.
Featuring the exhibiting Haddad Merit Scholars.

First Annual Student Art Sale: Student Organization of Fine Arts (SOFA)
Thursday, April 30 from 5–8 p.m.
The sale will include artwork from the show in addition to other original works. All sales are commission free with 100% of the proceeds going to the artists.

All events are held at the Bostwick Design Partnership Gallery and are free and open to all.

Showcasing Student Art

The Department of Art and Design and The Galleries at CSU are excited to announce the 2nd Annual CSU Office of the President Exhibition. This special exhibit features a selection of CSU student artwork, carefully curated by the gallery director and studio art faculty on disply in the office of CSU President Laura Bloomberg.

The collection higlights creativity and talent across a variety of artistic disciplines, offering a beautiful representation of CSU students' work.
