52nd Annual student art show at BOnfoey Gallery
April 16 – May 24, 2024

Each spring brings the annual Cleveland State University juried Student Art Show, an exhibition that presents an opportunity to recognize student excellence and celebrate our creative community. This annual show is a major event in the academic life of the CSU Department of Art and Design. Awards are given for a "Best In" series for categories including video animation, sculpture, design, photography, printmaking, painting, and drawing, among others. This year, the show will take place at the Bonfoey Gallery at 1710 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland (across the street from CSU's Levin College of Public Affairs & Education).

Annual haddad Merit Scholar Exhibitions at The Yards Projects
April 16 – May 24, 2024

The Haddad Merit Scholar Exhibitions run concurrently with the Student Art Show every spring. This show features work by recipients of the Department of Art and Design Haddad Merit Scholarship. By presenting their work in this show, these talented students are fulfilling a scholarship requirement and gaining experience with gallery installations. This year's scholars are Evan Elchert, Hannah Gregory, Lauren Heier, Erin McHugh, Paris Snyder, Jurnee Ta'Zion, and Molly Zickes. We're pleased to announce that this year the Merit Scholar Exhibitions will take place at the beautiful Yards Projects located in Worthington Yards at 725 Johnson Ct. in Cleveland's Warehouse District.

2nd Annual CSU Office of the president Exhibition

The Department of Art and Design and The Galleries at CSU are pleased to present the 2nd Annual CSU Office of the President Exhibition. This exhibition consists of CSU student artwork that was selected by Art and Design faculty to be displayed in the office of CSU President Laura Bloomberg. The artwork on display is a beautiful reflection of talent across artistic disciplines. Keep an eye on this space as we will announce this year's featured artists in the spring.
