Each spring, Cleveland State University proudly hosts the highly anticipated juried Student Art Show and Haddad Merit Scholar Exhibition, celebrating student creativity and excellence. This event is a cornerstone in the academic calendar for the CSU Department of Art and Design, offering a platform to showcase the best of our creative community.

The show features awards in a variety of categories, including video animation, sculpture, ceramics, photography, printmaking, painting, and drawing, among others.

Requirements to Enter Juried Exhibition

• All currently enrolled CSU students are eligible to submit up to four pieces of artwork — any major, Project 60, graduate or undergraduate
• Artwork must have been produced in the 2024- 2025 academic year and not shown in previous Galleries at CSU shows
• All 2D works should be framed and ready to install
• Please have the title and sale price (if applicable) at drop-off

Drop-offs: March 25-29, 10 a.m.–4 p.m.

Event Details
This year’s exhibition will be held Thursday, April 17 from 5–8 p.m. at the Bostwick Design Partnership Gallery. It is open to all CSU students, regardless of major.
