REFLECTIONS: Structure Building in Syntax and Beyond

Welcome to our online talk series!

Syntactic theory in the generative framework has been developing for the past 70 years. After exploring its foundations for 3 years (see the talks on foundations here), we switch to a new theme: ‘Structure Building in Syntax and Beyond’. To facilitate our exploration of this fascinating topic, we have invited scholars in the field to reflect on structure building, primarily focusing on syntax but also in related areas, such as phonology and morphology. We invite you to participate with us in this exciting process! REFLECTIONS talks have a 2-hour slot, with a talk lasting around one hour, followed by questions and discussion.
