Phillip Wanyerka (Ph.D.), Director of Anthropology, and the CSU Archaeological Field School Program, was contacted by the Richfield Heritage Preserve to do winter archaeology at an historic 1836 home called the Oviatt House.

The Cleveland State University (CSU) Chemistry Department and the broader university community fondly remember the legacy of Professor Emeritus Dr. Lily M. Ng, who passed away peacefully on September 22, 2025, in Minneapolis, MN, at the age of 79.

Each summer and fall, the President's Office suite serves as gallery space for CSU's talented student artists in the Office of the President Exhibition. Peninah Kariuki, a graduate student at Cleveland State University, won the Best Graduate Student Poster Award at the recent fall meeting of the American Physical Society’s Eastern Great Lakes Section at Eastern Michigan University.

Dr. Rachel Carnell, Dean and Mandel Chair in Humanities of the Jack, Joseph, & Morton Mandel Honors College​, was recently featured in an Opinion piece on Cleveland.com on how The humanities can help us connect across the political divide.

Merlin Bumpus Junior Investigator Awards celebrate outstanding research by junior investigators in clinical and laboratory settings by recognizing the best researchers among the nearly 500 Ph.D. students, postdoctoral fellows, residents and clinical fellows affiliated with the Cleveland Clinic.
