FROM THE DIRECTOR, SHEFFIA RANDALL-NICKERSON
Jonathan Larson's Rent is a groundbreaking rock musical that celebrates love, friendship, resilience, and the power of chosen family. Set in New York City's East Village during the height of the HIV/AIDS crisis, Rent follows a group of artists navigating life, loss, identity, and the pursuit of their dreams. It is about artists creating beauty in difficult times.
We're looking for Bohemian creators. Punk poets. Musicians. Storytellers. Rebels with compassion. Performers who believe that art has the power to build community and create a better future. We are looking for artists who are fearless, generous collaborators, emotionally honest, and excited to tell this story.
