Dr. Vail Interviewed by the Ernest Becker Foundation

Published on

The Department of Psychology's Dr. Kenneth Vail was recently interviewed by the Ernest Becker Foundation.  Established in 1993, the Ernest Becker Foundation seeks to advance understanding of how the unconscious denial of mortality profoundly influences human behavior. This spring, they published a series of interviews with researchers who study the effects of mortality reminders on human behavior, to see what they had to say about our behavior during this pandemic, as well as examine examples of these ideas in the news.  For this project, the Ernest Becker Foundation interviewed Dr. Vail about existential psychological concerns amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
