As the director of the Black Studies Program at Cleveland State University, I am eagerly anticipating the summer break; after my first academic year with the University, I know that these months will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our program.
As we look to the growth of the Black Studies Program, fundraising has taken on a more significant level of importance. In an effort to raise the much-needed funds to assist with our initiative in recruitment and outreach, I am excited to launch our first crowdfunding campaign and need your help!
We have officially launched our campaign to raise $3,000 for a book scholarship! Visit: https://csuohio.scalefunder.com/cfund/project/10401 to learn more about our needs and how you can help. Please consider making a gift and sharing on your social media channels and via email to encourage your friends, family, and colleagues to join us in supporting this worthwhile cause.
Thank you for your support of the Black Studies Program, our students, and Cleveland State University!
Thomas L. Bynum, Ph.D.
