Eye-TrackingWe use an Eyelink I000 Plus eye tracking system in order to observe eye movements in real time as participants engage in cognitive experiments. The eye tracker is affixed in a tower mount, allowing individuals to make touch screen responses during experiments without blocking the view of the eye camera. These touch responses are ideal for visual search tasks, and are more intuitive for individuals with cognitive impairments. |
ElectroencephalographyWe use a Biosemi ActiveTwo electroencephalography (EEG) system to examine event-related potentials during cognitive experiments. This provides a way to directly measure synaptic activity underlying cognitive processing, in real time. |
NeuroimagingThe lab includes several high-powered PC workstations for fMRI analysis. |
