Math Learning Center/Math Emporium

The Math Learning Center

Math Learning Center (MLC) is here to assist with your mathematics and statistics course needs.  Located in Berkman Hall 230 (very near TASC), MLC is a drop-in center where you can come at your convenience to ask questions, do homework, prep for exams or quizzes, and learn more about staff, their areas of concentration, and who among them might be best for you to work with.

MLC will be open during Fall Semester on the following schedule:
Monday through Thursday: 9:30am – 7:00pm
Friday: 9:30am – 3:00pm
MLC will offer appointments and consultation via zoom.  Please make a request via Starfish or by emailing mathlearningcenter@csuohio.edu

Hours are effective Tuesday, September 5th.  MLC will operate on a limited schedule during the first week of class, so check at MLC for the times the office will be available during week 1.  MLC is available any day classes are in session, and again, no appointment is necessary.

You will be asked for your CSU student ID when you work with someone from MLC.  It is of benefit to make use of MLC as early as the need arises.

You can also make an inquire about individual sessions with a member of MLC staff through by emailing mathlearningcenter@csuohio.edu. Please be patient during the first few weeks of the term while MLC staffing needs are assessed and implemented.

"The Math Learning Center offers an encouraging walk-in environment that promotes students' mathematical learning.  Experienced graduate and undergraduate Learning Assistants engage students and further their conceptual and computational understanding in all aspects of their mathematics coursework."
