Cleveland ARTS Education Consortium (CAEC)

Members & Membership

The arts are essential and an equal partner in all learning.

Across the CAEC member network, we celebrate lives lost during last couple of years. This includes Billie Osborne-Fears, passionate educator and vibrant Founder and CEO of Starting Point, 1990-2021, and Megan Thompson, enthusiastic, savvy educator and musician with Cleveland Opera Theater, Center for Arts-Inspired Learning and other organizations. They are deeply missed along with others we honor and remember.

Since its formation in 1999, the Cleveland Arts Education Consortium has become Northeast Ohio’s largest professional arts education service organization. As a diverse, member-driven organization that deeply believes in the value of arts education for all, we focus on the needs of arts educators and the organizations they represent. Through networking, professional development, and information-sharing programs, we support our members and create opportunities for them to engage in ways that strengthen their individual work.

Membership in the Cleveland Arts Education Consortium is available to area non-profit and education organizations and institutions engaged in presenting a wide range of arts education and information programs and projects that serve people of all ages and circumstances.

Regular Member Dues

Basic CAEC member dues are tiered at $50, $75, or $100 per year, based on each organization's annual budget. As we want all members to be able to participate, special dues scholarship assistance is available on an as-needed basis and must be requested in writing or in-person to the Manager of the Cleveland Arts Education Consortium.

Leadership Dues Partnerships

Four new Leadership Partner Dues levels were introduced in 2017, affording organizations to commit to three years of Consortium membership support and special CAEC participation. Leadership Partners are recognized on all CAEC member lists.

Visionary Leadership Partners — annual dues at $1,500 or more, permitting all staff and board members to participate without additional cost during the time of this commitment.

Innovator Leadership Partners — annual dues between $1,000 and $1,499, permitting up to five staff and/or board to participate without additional cost during the time of this commitment.

Creator Leadership Partners — annual dues between $500 and $999, permitting up to two staff members to participate without additional costs during the time of this commitment.

Enthusiast Leadership Partners — annual dues between $200 and $499, permitting one staff member to participate without additional costs during the time of this commitment.
