Soft Matter REU

Research Experiences for Undergraduates

• NSF supported REU site for sophomore and junior physics and engineering majors.
• Soft matter interdisciplinary research combines physics, chemistry, biology, and engineering to study the unique properties of liquids, colloids, polymers, gels, and biological materials.
• Participating students receive a stipend for 10 weeks of faculty supervised work, housing, and travel funds.
