Dr. Naser to Publish in School Psychology

The Department of Psychology's Dr. Shereen Naser recently had an article accepted for publication in School Psychology titled "A Brief Report on the Promise of System 2 Cues for Impacting Teacher Decision Making in School Discipline Practices for Black Male Youth." The article explores the utility of a System 2 cue in slowing down teacher decision-making around student behavior as a way to reduce the impact of implicit racial bias on the decision-making process.
